(Date unknown) Trick Dog Coin Bank
(Date unknown) Trick Dog Coin Bank

Manufacturer: Unknown
Condition: Very good condition
Reproduction vintage collectable

The Tricky Dog Bank has gone through several versions since the original model sold in the 1930’s. This is a reproduction using the original mold. It’s made of heavyweight cast iron and painted by hand. The whimsical circus design springs to life when a coin is set into the dog’s mouth. Press the lever on the side, and Trick Dog jumps through the hoop and drops the coin in the barrel. Works great, spring is strong. The paint job is in great condition with very little wear for it’s age. No rust, dings or scratches.

The stamp on the bottom says TAIWAN and has a patent number. Includes the original rubber stopper. Take the stopper out to retrieve coins. Trick Dog Bank measures 8 1/4″ x 4″ x 7″ tall and weighs almost 4 pounds! Some other reproductions are a smaller 7″ length.

1970’s Litho Tin Play Toys Set of 2
1970’s Litho Tin Play Toys Set of 2

Year: 1970’s
Manufacturer: Unknown
Condition: Good to very good condition
Vintage collectables

A pair of tin play toys, one a wind up and the other a squeeze-style action toy. They are lithographed tin, probably made by the same company. The pair of wrestlers has a “Made in India” sticker on the underside. Squeezing the U shaped piece under the two wrestlers causes them to rock back and forth. It’s a simple but clever idea. 5 1/2” tall x 3” wide. The chicken has a key to wind it up. Remove the key, set the chicken on a flat surface and he starts hopping. The chicken is 1 1/2” tall x 2” wide. There’s a little paint missing where the two wrestlers rub against each other but they both work great!

Dive Dive Blue Submarine #C11

Each GoBot is like a puzzle and takes some figuring out to make them work. These are fairly intricate and clever designs, and a new direction for Tonka, making them very collectable. This set is unnamed, usually referred to as “Regular” GoBots.

This set has been used and played with minimally. The Flip Top Helicopter is missing the small rotor and the Flip Top Forklift is missing the console. But otherwise the set is in great shape with original paint and sticker markings.
