1974 Young Frankenstein Laser Disc
$49.00 $39.20
Year: 1974
Manufacturer: 20th Century Fox
Condition: Good condition
First edition vintage collectable
The laser disc was cutting edge 1970’s technology. For the first time, an ENTIRE movie fit on a thick metal disc inside a 13” square plastic cartridge. One disc is made from more metal and plastic than a dozen iPhones! The disc was built to last forever. Unfortunately technology changes and if you have a laser disc player, it’s getting hard to find movies to play on it.
Now you can own and watch the official LD release of the classic Young Frankenstein movie starring Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Cloris Leachman, Terri Garr, Kenneth Mars and Madeline Kahn. Filmed in glorious black and white, this homage to horror movies was written and directed by the one and only Mel Brooks, mastermind behind The Producers, Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety, Spaceballs, and many other movies. Probably Gene Wilder’s best performance. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 94.

1999 Austin “Danger” Powers Ultra-Cool Action Figure v.2 “Shag” in Package
Year: 1999
Manufacturer: McFarlane Toys
Condition: Mint condition in mint package
First edition vintage collectable
Here’s the “alternate” Austin Powers figure and packaging. Like the other version of this figure, it also made the news in 1999 when some found the text on the package and the randy phrases a little too “adult” for children. There were multiple versions. This one has Austin saying “Would you fancy a shag?” on the front, and includes a sexy dictionary, along with a mirror The martini glass and olive stirrer were very small parts and were removed from this version because of the choking hazard. This is the second version, which was supposed to be more “tame” than the first version, which had Austin asking “Do I make you horny baby, do I?” (see other model by clicking here).
Austin is about 6” tall, and in his original packaging, which is in mint condition. Mike Meyers provides the voice, which is in the base. The tab has never been pulled on either version, so it should speak when removed, but it’s not guaranteed. (Why would you ever open it anyway baby?)

“Whoa! Maybe I should use a different shampoo!” It’s Michael Keaton’s character Beetlejuice in a unique snake mask design. This is a totally retro collectable toy with a surprise function. 2004 Arnold Schwarzenegger Montage Limited Edition Framed Signed Print by Nick Shotwell
Year: 2004
Artist: Nick Shotwell
Condition: Near mint condition print
First edition vintage collectable
This limited edition signed print of Arnold Schwarzenegger is drawn by illustrator Nick Shotwell. The story reads like a fairytale, but it’s true, and it goes like this. Schwarzenegger was at a prominent bodybuilding and sports event in Columbus, Ohio. Artist Nick Shotwell attended the event and brought along a montage of portraits he had drawn of his idol, hoping Schwarzenegger would autograph it. Somehow, he managed to get backstage, and he stationed himself beside Schwarzenegger’s waiting limousine.
Not only did he get an autograph, but he got a call from Schwarzenegger’s secretary a week later asking if he could create some more artwork for him. “It was amazing,” recalls Shotwell. “He was my number-one idol and it meant a lot to me that he thought I was a talented artist. Had I not met him, I don’t know if I would have had the confidence to believe I could do art for a living and become a medical animator.”
The print measures 18 1/4″ x 24 1/4″ and is in near mint condition. It comes in a basic black metal frame with plexiglas that has some signs of age, including a few dings and scratches. Would look best re-framed but the current one has helped protect the artwork.
